This plant was two inches tall when I bought it last year, it came in a two inch pot and out grew the pot in no time. I have had to re-pot it a few times over in the last one year. It has grown top heavy and tends to topple over or lean low because of it weight.
Now it is close to a feet in height and looks so pretty. It hasn’t bloomed so far but has had like a few dozen pups. My garden now is full of these succulents now.
These plants are so easy to grow and are no trouble at all. You only need to avoid over watering and they take care of themselves. They looks so green, luscious and beautiful. Just a couple of these plants in your porch could make for a stunning setting.
Sadly a few of these plants have been eaten up by rodents in my garden, I think the juicy leaves make them seem inviting to these pests. Beware of rodent attack if you have these succulents.

These are really beautiful and undemanding plants. My mom had them in the garden.
Yes they are, you are right on both counts. Like I said earlier your mom and I would have made great pals. 😀
You would certainly enjoy growing flowers. My mom also loved flowers.
I have the Autumn Joy sedum in my garden. Looks similar.
Unfortunately these don’t bloom in bunches like the Autumn Joy stonecrop. These have only two or three blooms at a time. The leaves are huge 1cm thick and easily around 12-15 cms across and 15-20 cms or more length wise. I am sure they would grow even bigger if I transplant them in bigger pots.
i love seeing the many plants of your garden! A view walkthrough of your garden would be awesome!
After the thunderstorm had some pots rolling and all the soil splattered all around, it is a sight for sore eyes. Some plants look battered.
sorry, what i meant was a video walk through! even with storm damage!
I will try to make one as soon as possible. I have been planning to get one of my cacti and succulents at least but they are spread over three floors the very thought of getting them to one place makes me shiver,
i think it would be awesome. Norman Darlington used to share one of his garden on occasion.
Does he have those videos here on Virily?
