Due to the strong fragrance and special colors, rose is a living legend in the world of flowers. That makes it loved by all of us. But, do not think that just us, people love the roses! They are equally loved by insects that we will always find hide among the petals of the roses. The presence of ants on roses should be carefully monitored as the number of ants can be correlated with the presence of aphids on roses.

Insects in the garden are always interesting. Some are pests, Some add value, some are critical!
Such a lovely pink rose, thanks for sharing.
There are a lot of insect that can cause serious damage to roses, you are right!
Yes, insects are really harmful for roses or for any plant as well
You are right! There are a lot of insects, but not all that can be harmful to the rose.
Quite the closeup shot. That little ant is very visible on that gorgeous pink rose. Some insects do cause damage to plants but a lot of them are not and actually help pollinate flowers and plants alike.
I agree that some insects help pollination but other insects are extremely harmful to roses.
I like this pink colour. Thank you for sharing this wonderful photo.
How beautiful. Some insects are friendly but others like Japanese beetles are not.
