The autumn of my childhood had a smell of quince. My mom used to bring them to the house and put them on the cupboard, on the table, or at the windows. She said they have beneficial effects on our psyche to fight anxiety and depression, and nervousness … go out on the window.
It’s the time of the quinces! It’s time for memories!
Today my autumn smells like quince jelly.

I like the quince … jam is very delicious
Quince reminds me of my Grandmother. She had trees and would make jam.
I actually haven’t had quince this year, hopefully, next year!
I like quince. I’m just eating sweet, which I cooked from this fantastic fruit.
I remember mangos when I lived in La Boca Panama since there was a tree in the open grass area between the back yard and a street that went to what was then Canal Zone Junior College which is now a military school for Panamanian students.
My mom really didn’t like fruit and there wasn’t any just growing, so I never really had it until I was an adult. (except huckleberries).
