Despite the low temperatures of the last few days, we have enjoyed a mild winter so far. The only sign that we are still in the winter season is the partially frozen lake. Along with the seagulls who are regular guests in these places, I have seen a pair of winter swans on the lake. Their size is similar to the summer swan, but it is a more dynamic bird. The neck is held upright, not bent S-shaped while it floats on the water.

Well done! Nice post!
Beautiful picture. I haven’t seen the winter swans yet. We only see ducks on our lakes.
I was surprised to see them, because they don’t come in this area very much!
Lovely photo. I am not around any water so I never see swans.
They are extraordinary birds. Too bad you can see them.
Such a lovely capture! I have seen winter swans in the zoo.
