This little creature has utilized the art of camouflage well. I had had to take a really hard look to see him “hiding in plain sight.”. Do you see him? I will post a link to in the comments section below, where I will outline him for you. It just so happens that my middle daughter has always had a fascination for them and even had a few as “pets” from time to time, growing up.

That sounds like a plan! your answer cracked me up!
I really like them. I would love to get an orchid one. I wished they lived longer. Theyre movements are so cool to watch. I can see why she is fascinated by them.
wonderful capture , thanks for sharing
Yes I do see the mantis, how cool is this. I have seen them a few times in my garden.
They are so great and have such a cool name too. Too bad, after they make love they eat their male partners! Lol.
Hey Andre, I watched a documentary of a mantis zoo. They have them and breed them and keep the males alive. They have to watch them really close, and as soon as the male leaves her, they pluck him up, before she does. lol.
WOW! Lucky fellows, perhaps it would have been a solution to the population crisis if women dealt with males the same way. Naturally, In
that situation, I would be a monk in a monastery. Ha, ha, ha.
lol, now that would do it! We could let one out of every 20 live..that seems fair enough. I bet a lot of guys would join you. hahaha
