Visiting Niagara Falls and not having that Maid of the Mist experience will not satisfy you One can get that experience on both the US and Canadian side.
You are given blue rain coats if you are experiencing it from the US side and yellow rain coats will be given to you on the Canadaian side I experienced both.
The boat goes very close to the Falls and the mist falls on you. That is what you pay for – the mist falling on you.
