The annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, the world’s largest parade, is presented by the U.S. based department chain Macy’s. The parade started in 1924. The three-hour parade is held in Manhattan, and has been televised nationally since 1952. Employees at Macy’s department stores have the option of marching in the parade.
The balloons are huge and even though I have never been, I watch it every year. Amazing.
Sharing a link showing the parade live. Hopefully it will work for you. Macy’s Parade Live.

There is no doubt. Beautiful tradition.

Yes it is one of the most loved parades of the year.
Wow! It’s a cool and fun parade. Do you watch it directly?
Only on my tv screen Albert. It is held in New York and I have never been there.
Upzz… My apology, Carol. I just realize that I don’t know where the region and city you stay in America.
Near Nashville, Tennessee
Thanks for your information, Carol. Wow… it’s far enough of course.
This is awesome indeed, it looks like so much fun!
Yes I would love to go one day.
Ah yes, the Macy’s Day Parade. It will be playing in the back round as we get that dinner ready. What a super cool photo in 27! Felix the cat, the wonderful wonderful CAT!!!
I see the old woman in the shoe too, but who is the other one? Pinocchio?
Love this parade, so much work goes into it too. I watched some of the pre-work yesterday. This is one of the coldest yet. 27 degrees! Yes, Felix is a classic.
I think you are right Kim, that is Pinocchio. 🙂
I loved the Santa at the end of this one. He had so much great energy! I looked around the room at everyone, and they were all smiling while watching the ending.
