Macro Monday – Straight Out Of Camera

I took this photo a few minutes ago. The rain that fell all night filled my  lemon tree with water drops. The refractions in the small raindrops caught my attention and made me take some pictures. Usually, before publishing, I do the basic editing but this time I make an exception and publish this photo straight out of the camera … just because someone told me I’m not a photographer if I can’t take “good” photos “straight out of camera”. Personally, I do not agree  this idea. An unedited photo is like a text that contains grammatical errors.

Anyway, I share this picture with Macro Monday Challenge

  1. I saw this on the feed. It doesnt show the name of the author in the thumbnail, so I always try to guess before I click on it. I knew this was yours! Love the three drops, which shows perfect framing. Leads the eye. I see a pale yellow flower coming out of a pot in the reflection. Brilliant! I do manipulate my photos to lighten, darken, boost colors sometimes, and crop, and you know sometimes I get really crazy and make art of them, but mostly I like the natural look. I do not agree with what that person said to you, even Ansel edited. 😉

  2. Those reflections in those drops are amazing

I only edit to create the right size and sometimes the photo comes out dull and that is when I edit it to get its natural brightness

  3. I see a flower pot. I don’t know who was the one who told you, “I’m not a photographer if I can’t take good” photos “straight out of the camera.” He is very fooled. I don’t know why there are people who are angry with you.
