My dad loved it, and planted it everywhere we lived. He loved the use of living fences!
We also had in the past a hedge of these plants.
When my dad has his farm we had a 500 foot long 8 foot high living fence in just 5 years. Then when I came to visit mom and dad in the early summer (come over for dinner my dad would say) I would help him trim that living fence. Every year!
