This time of year, this kind of site is common at home. There are many native rides and I am always there when I am home. This year I am nowhere near home and unless there are some major changes in the lockdowns, I won’t make it this year. (Although we have considered going out of our way to try and sneak around the restrictions.) Yes, I know it’s a bad idea and still, this would be the first year in 32 years that I did not make a trip home.
My heart longs for my homeland and my people.

polls are flakey.
home, what we seek as much for what we miss and remember.
we often wander past places we once lived. Looking out the rearview mirror to remember. It is in going back that we recall why we left and what it means to return.
You have to edit the poll question about 3 or 4 times before it actually posts correctly
I did that double, I will just go with it from now on. It’s all good.
Thanks for sharing this with us.
Oh my goodness, Giri thanks so much for the comment. I truly appreciate it.
I am very interested in the Native American cultures, would love to read more about it here too.
I go to my home site every now and then. Most all family have passed away but the graves are there.
Humm, well it looked right to me at one time. I guess it is what it is.
Looks fine, the polls are a little messed up.
I have to learn to not worry about things I cannot control.
It takes time but it is very important for our well being.
