Reports have it that several women have expressed fears of having to spend time with their abusive husbands indoors due to lock down rules to help ward off Corona virus.
One would have thought it would be a nice break for couples as otherwise they do not find time to spend with each other. A happy family with kids would use this time to create happy memories.
I feel for these women who have no choice but to go through anxious times.

There are many tragedies going on behind closed doors. Many women suffer domestic violence.
Specially in a lock down situation they have no escape.
This is a very important issue that not enough people talk about. Unfortunately, domestic violence is too common even in peaceful times.
They cannot leave the house in this situation
There is a phone for abused women, if called, they will be accommodated in a specialist center designed for them.
It happens this lock down isn’t beneficial for everyone. With abusive husbands, sometimes going to job is a temporary solution.
The solution to this would be either a restraining order or mace
What exactly is mace. I have not followed.
Mace is another name for pepper spray. It is used to keep bears from killing people in the wild.

Yes, as a method to defend herself. Some women have used guns to shoot back in self-defense
I feel for both who have to go through with it because it’s not just women it is men too. But, hey the Corona will not last forever

When a couple cannot get along this situation makes it worse.
