You had me at dogs. We watched a show last night on the process of a litter of puppies becoming guide dogs. The effort, the love, and the time the dogs and people put in to help the dogs is amazing. The result, a sign impaired human being is freed from relying only on their cane to get around.

Quote Monday!
Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art… It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things that give value to survival.

Dogs are very smart animals and learn quickly.
i know my dogs are very smart. I worry though they watch me all the time. They have learned my patterns and are standing waiting for me.
Thanks for sharing my sharing post. 🙂
I think service dogs and their owners are the best. I had a friend once that had one and he said the dog was like his shadow.
i was shocked how long their training is. I guess I should have known
Yes, it takes a lot of time and patience from the dog and handler.
I watched a netflix show focusing on guide dogs for the blind. I was beyond amazed.
My blind cousin had a service dog for many years. A german shepherd, and he 110% protected her.
i was beyond amazed watching that process for those trained dogs!
