Just Breathe

Some days will knock the wind out of you. Other days are great. My life is a roller coaster. I am sure a lot of you can relate. Over the years I have learned when to stop, take a pause, and take deep breaths. There is something so refreshing when you take long deep breaths. This has helped me survive over the years. It sounds very simple but you have no idea the power it gives you. It does wonders for anxiety and stress. On those days when my cats cannot help me through, I depend on the long deep breaths to carry me through to the next day. I hope you all have something to get you through the difficult times as well.

A lot of times the world inside our heads is far more chaotic than the world outside it. We have immense power to calm it by remembering to just breathe.

  1. Some days I cannot hardly wait to be over. Other days I want more hours and for them to never end. I have found many devices to rid myself of stress and more. After my dad died and we were really close, I grieved through painting, I painted on canvas, poster boards and more. Each feeling I painted out and never once did I ever paint over it, it was my release and it helped me scream out those feelings without speaking.

    Now I can deep sigh and go on, knowing life will happen and I will be okay.
