Of the countries that we visited, that covered our Europe package tour I found Switzerland gave me reasons to call it the best
It is the cleanest, well laid out country with roads skirted by well maintained lawns dotted by tiny yellow flowers right through.
We spent a week there and the highlight was going up the Alps. The hotel where we stayed had the window overlooking the Alps a memorable view.
A cable car took us up to the railway station, from Engelberg. That ride was accompanied by the tapering sound of the bells that were tied round the cows grazing below. That sound is still reverberating in my ears.
The train took us to the Jungfrau Railway Station. That journey was picturesque to say the least.
A gondola took us up to Jungfrau. That rotating gondola gave us a full view of the Alps. We spent a full day there. There was a mall and a restaurant and also a post office – the highest in the world I posted a card to folks back home.
The walk inside the ice place was yet another rare experience. Strangely it was not cold inside the ice palace. There were figurines of different animals carved from ice. It was slippery but when there is enthusiasm nothing seems difficult.
There was not much snow but we did get to play a bit
The scenic beauty is not something I will forget in a hurry.

Switzerland is truly a super place

Country of origin as far as chocolates go (lol) I love chocolates and had them to my hearts content
I visited all these countries, dear friend … I was a coach driver at a travel agency … I drove the whole Europe in the long and short time, and a little more Africa
Coach drivers are the most important as they drive us through safely and they know the ropes We took the package through SOTC

I was working for a Swiss Company whose office is located in Basle
yes my job took me to many places over the years. It led to interesting pictures!
You have a great collection. My travel has given me a great collection and so too my other interests.
My father also traveled a lot for work. He and my mother often went to many places I never did.
