I usually only go swimming in the recreational club we joined lately as my youngest always wants to be with me. There are also Jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath which I would really love to try out, but there are only for members who are over 15 years old.
I finally had a chance to go to the Jacuzzi alone as my youngest was happily having fun with my husband in the swimming pool. At first the water was too warm to me, but slowly I enjoyed myself in the hot tub. I would visit the hot tub again, and perhaps sauna and steam bath later too.
I didn’t know Jacuzzi is actually a brand name, and its actual name is “hot tub”. It seems like Jacuzzi is written and called every where here, so I always thought it’s called Jacuzzi until I searched for it before I wrote this post. 😀

Do you call it Jacuzzi too?

Technically it should always be called Hot Tub. Jacuzzi is a brand of Hot Tub. Like Kleenex (which is also a brand) it has replaced the proper name!
I have heard the name only in movies.
So what do you usually call this Jacuzzi or hot tub? I read that it’s called spa too, though I am not sure if they are exactly the same.
I call it simply hot tub.
A hot tub bath I think is far more relaxing than a normal swim.
I think so, perhaps it’s because of the warm water and some have powerful jets for massage purpose as well.
It can be called either name.
Thanks for telling me this. I thought it’s just people in my country call the brand name. Many people in my country call Maggi mee instead of instant noodles and Pampers instead of diapers, perhaps the brand of these products have become so popular that people just call the brand instead of the product, even if it’s not a product of the brand. 😛
