As I was strolling in my garden I saw something moving and was happy to see this peacock taking strides ever so gently. After finishing its round it flew up where our water tank is. It spent some time there knowing all the while I was there with my camera. It did not falter nor run away but gladly posed for me.
Peacocks visit our garden occasionally. I have had around 6 of them spending quite a bit of time on our roof and yet another one that came towards me allowing me to get its full movement. I captured a video clip – it looked quite magnificent.
Our garden is designed with birds in mind. Little wonder therefore we are honoured with different species all through the year.
Here is a video clip of that majestic bird that let me capture its movement a long time ago.

Do you see peacocks around you?

Yes

No

In some parts of India ,they are as common as chicken.
It is a magnificent bird and specially when they dance before the rains.
We have many visiting our garden but none have danced so far
You should also see them in flight. Short ones across the trees ,but are a sight to watch.
Wow, that’s amazing! I have only seen them in the zoo or where people keep them.
I am waiting for them to return which they normally do during this time.
I haven’t seen a peacock in a long time. Looks like the bird posed for you.
We have quite a few of them around here. I have not seen them just yet as they normally get back after rains.
We do not have peacocks wild, only in the zoo.
There were forests around here not so far away. They have all become concrete jungles. Peacocks and other animals are displaced, sadly
Sometimes farmers used to have many peacocks, dear friend …. I don’t know why they don’t have them now
Many birds I notice have either become less or they have disappeared.
I also noticed that some birds are gone, dear Grace
Yes I have see peacock
Have you seen it dancing. I have not so far.
I never get to see peacocks unless I am on one of my road trips. I usually drive towards forests and hills to see them. You are so lucky.
This season I still do not see them. Waiting patiently
It has been many years since I last saw a peacock. They are quite a beauty to behold.
We have them on a regular basis. I have videos too on them
That is good you have videos of them.
That is a lovely peacock and how nice he came to visit, One time back in my garden in Riga Latvia a seagull came to visit one time and it was a complete surprise,
Peacocks are regular visitors here. I am waiting as they have not yet arrived which they do soon after it stops raining.
