People, even complete strangers, often feel the need to give me advice. I typically reply, thank you for the suggestion and then I write it down. I have them separated into two different notebooks. The blue notebooks are the things that strangers shared with me. The red ones are things that the people who know me have shared.
Yesterday it was a stranger. We were in line waiting to check out, I had two items milk and vegetables.I wonder what he saw what prompted the statement. He simply said “You need a life motto.” I just said “Oh.” I had a friend with me and she said “You have to stop looking at people and smiling. It gives them permission to talk to you.” I wrote both things down in the proper notebooks and thought that was the end of it. This one has been haunting me. I can’t seem to get it out of my head. So I guess it’s time to learn about it.
Define it “By definition, it’s a brief statement “used to express a principle, a goal, or an idea” or a statement “adopted as a guide to one’s conduct.” I guess I really don’t have a specific motto and I can’t imagine that it wouldn’t change over time. Now it’s stuck in in brain and circulating.

Sometimes I meet strangers who try to start a friendly chat. I always relent when the topic is interesting.
Well, it seems like strangers in all countries like to give advises.
But those that do (that I met) are usually out of kindness, even if they’re not the best advises.
This has happened to me before. I usually ignore them, unless it is something that makes sense.
To be honest, I’ve never had a stranger give me advice, though I do often talk to strangers with general chit chat. I like talking to people.
For some reason, strangers also talk to me, maybe like you, I should stop smiling 😀
It’s seems odd to me that so many are happy to offer me advice!
Yes, I also find it odd.
