Hydroculture …

Hydroculture is a way of cultivating plants without soil. The prefix hydro (Greek) always reminds us of water, so it is not difficult to assume that the hydropower is the cultivation of plants without soil, that is, in the water.Instead of soil, water and clay beads are used, the only function of which is the stability of the plant, that is, preventing it from floating in water.

Taking into account the development of hydroculture, today almost all plants can grow, from room plants to vegetables. We recommend that you use the home plants which are the easiest to maintain in the mentioned conditions for the beginning. Ideal are diphenbachia (Dieffenbachia), Calatea (Calathea), ornamental bamboo (Dracaena sanderiana).
When cultivating the hydropower should pay attention to the root, it must be protected from the light, and it can be too branched, so that literally certain parts of the container are healed, and there can be rot. Therefore, the root should be periodically checked and, if necessary, monitored or shrunk.

  1. Nice. I actually have a hydropower device, and have played with hydroponics many times. One of my favorite places at Epcot in the US, was the hydroponics building1
