Our friend Kim has started another fun challenge….Color Crazy Challenge
Red is the color for this week. Sharing a big saucer sized Hibiscus bloom from my spring garden last year.
The butterflies and hummingbirds love this plant. I cannot wait for their return in a few weeks.

In the red is the most common Hibiscus in the gardens. He adores yours too.
Lovely specimen there! Red hibiscus is so cheerful and tropical looking.
Beautiful flower. I very rarely see this plant in red.
Very nice hibiscus flower, dear Carol …. I’ve already joined this challenge
I haven’t joined yet but I think I will. Thank you for remind me that.
You are welcome. The color will change on Monday. She will announce.
wow that is a bright, bright red.
I cannot wait for the return of butterflies and bluebirds (yes this year bluebird again) to Carol’s Angelic Garden (formerly known as Narnia!)
I love these crimson blooms. And they are actually saucer sized, as they told me they would be when I purchased this one years ago. Thanks Doc, same here!
the questions now come which one first. Bluebird eggs or flowers?
I am enjoying the various ways the red colour is manifested.
I am too, Kim always has great challenges.
Such a lovely flower. I don’t have red hibiscus. I will get a cutting today from my friend.
Thanks, I love the crimson colored blooms.
Such a gorgeous vibrant color!
Thanks, this is a favorite plant. I bring it indoors over the winter and it keeps blooming year round.
That’s really amazing.
The first two years, it never bloomed inside then it started and continues now.
