He announced he wanted Praline Cake. I don’t recall ever making praline cake, but I guess if that is truly what he wants I better jump on it. I would guess this is a southern thing. I guess I will go searching for a recipe to see if it is something I think I can pull together. I found a recipe that might be doable. We are not really having Thanksgiving, but we can certainly have cake. My brother might not be able to eat, and might not even come home. We will still try and keep spirits up and celebrate something. I think I will give it a try tomorrow and share it with a neighbor to see if I got it right. She is often a great taste tester for my new attempts.

I had this one year in Destin Florida (family thanksgiving getaway). It is amazing. I don’t have a recipe though.

When I first looked at the pic I couldn’t work out what it was. It does look delicious though.
Reading several recipies it seems to be a sponge cake with a caremel and pralene topping.
I have never made a praline cake, I wonder how the texture would be.
