The rain has got even my heftiest sedums to hang down. Can you see the water drops hanging down? Every night has been the same. During the day the sun beats down and at night it pours.
Last night I had to buy a few of my baking supplies and the sky looked fine. There were no clouds hanging down . We drove over to a supermarket near by picked up all the stuff in a few minutes Grabbed some Lebanese lamb rolls from a takeaway near by and reached home. The whole exercise wouldn’t have taken us more than 45 minutes . Just as we opened the gates the rain started pouring down. Thank God it is not so windy now or weather like this would have brought a few trees down.
All my plants were floating in water this morning. I spent so much time draining out water and ensuring that all plants are dry.

Nice shoot, with hanging down.
Thank you Tiada. I was trying to make the best of what we have.
Thank you Lado, these seem to be the only pictures I can get these days.
Wow. It is an awesome shot Dawn.
Thank you MohanBabu, I love taking pictures.
In one water drop, I saw something green, We need rain here because it is so dry now the palm trees are dropping leaves
That is the sedum from a nearby container RasmaSandra,
Water does not stay for long in our compound as we have pits that fill up. We have them for wet compost and also serve for retaining water in the compound.
This is on our terrace and the rain lashes down and pushes all the dirt and debris to the outlets fitted with meshes and rainwater harvesting filters and stops the flow of water at times.
Is that you in the reflection? We need rain so bad.
This is the reflection of a sedum from a container below it.
