Can you guess what tree these leaves are from in my yard? There are a few raindrops I captured. I love walking around after a nice rain shower. The drops are cool on some of the leaves. Nature is amazing. The birds seem happier after a rain and everything is so nice and fresh. This time of the year we don’t get enough rain, but I am thankful when we do get a little rain shower. I think my yard agrees. Have a great weekend everyone!

I wasn’t even thinking about the other tree, then it hit me almost as soon as I hit that return key,,its that smoke! They remind me of new growth on a live oak..

I did the same thing, I looked at it and thought, I know this.. but guessed wrong at first. lol.
Congratulations on getting it right, Kim, even though Carol says it wasn’t a quiz, rfol.
It’s hard for me to identify a tree by leaves and their arrangement alone. I need tree shape and tree fruits or flowers to make a good guess.
