Winter in the city is beautiful as long as the snow is white. Topics are at every step and we should go out for a photo sesion. Tomorrow the weather may not be the same and we can lose the chance to take nice cadres. It happend many times to me in the last time. A few years ago I did not hesitate to go out on a daily basis. In 2019 I will have to go out more. I need to refresh my photo archive.
These photos are taken two years ago. I converted them in black and white for Friday in Black and White Challenge.

Nice image of the snow in the city. Since it seldom snows in Lake Charles, it is a treat to see the snow falling outside the home and see history in the making.
Snow gives a special note to the city. Everything gets a fairytale look.

I often find that black and white pictures are more appealing than color but then again it all depends on the setting or the object for that matter. In this case I wouldn’t prefer it any other way. Thank you…

Gorgeous scenery. You have much more snow than we do right now. I will just have one day go and visit Romania during winter time. Gosh I might just move there maybe just as long as your winters are always so full of snow.
We do not always have that much snow in my area! It often melts quite quickly. In mountainous areas, you can find enough snow all winter.
As long as the snow is white? I don’t know that there is another color of snow other than white. lol

Snow is always white when it’s clean! When it begins to melt, mixing with mud becomes dirty, is not it? ? Come and visit Romania in the winter, then give me your answer!

At the time that I first saw the snow. I feel like I was the happiest person on earth but now that I get used to it, it sucks me not the snow itself but the cold
