Today I took care of my “garden”. There is no garden in the true sense of the word because I live on the 7th floor in an apartment , it is the garden arranged in my balcony. I have plenty of flower pots, bonsai or avocado. Avocado trees have obtained from the seeds of the fruits I have consumed. I do not think I will ever get fruit from them but they are beautiful in my “garden”. But as development conditions are not ideal, one of the trees has dried out. I think it was because the pot was too small. My fault that I did not change it. It was a lesson from which I learned something. I moved those who were left in much larger pots. And … I found an interesting subject to photograph.
“I’m planting a tree to teach me to gather strength from my deepest roots.” ― Andrea Koehle Jones
Look at how the root has been twisted into pots!
What have I learned from this? If we do not take care of our roots, we will die.
Nature does have many lessons for us. Some of the lessons are harsh. Some are wonderful!
You are right! Harsh or wonderful, the lessons of nature always bring something new to us.
They very much do! Harsh lessons are often the ones we recall the longest.
a very strange root structure…
Pretty strange! That made me take the picture!
you’ve got a good eye
It’s interesting to plant avocados in pots, although I’m not sure that too small pots killed it. How about bonsai?
It is possible that I did not take care of the tree properly. I still have one in a bigger pot that has grown much better. My bonsai is doing excellent! It is beautiful!?
I like things like this photo of a twisted root. Good to have a few pots. I have a few small pots kept on my window sills with seeds of chives growing.
Would love to have an avocado tree. And absolutely, I learn form nature every single day. This is an incredible photo as always.
The lessons we learn from nature are always useful. You can easily get an avocado tree. Maybe I will make a post about how I got a tree from the seed.
Thank you for sharing this. It’s just the inspiration I was looking for today.
I’m glad you found the inspiration through my photo!
