Engineering ~ Alphabet Crazy

As a Science student, I always thought of studying Engineering course in university. I chose Telecommunication Engineering and studied for one and a half year. Studying was fine, but I realized that I wouldn’t really like the work an engineer does or an engineer in my country does, after a lecturer shared his experiences with us. I finally decided to quit that Engineering course and studied Information Technology as I am more interested in programming.

I am glad I made the change as I enjoyed being a programmer, though some people commented I have wasted time, money or perhaps better opportunities. I think it’s good to know what we like and what we want, then go for it (as long as it’s not harmful to anyone and the earth).

    • I still remember when I started my first job and read this quote “Let your heart be your guide”, and I am still always inspired by this now. 🙂
