I actually thought it was a cartoon character. My grandson insisted it was a real thing and I needed to learn about it. So I went to the National Geographic site and learned there are many different octopuses that fall into this category. Basically any octopus that has large ears can be “called” Dumbo. I guess Walt Disney should be proud.
I find it interesting how many things I learn because my grandchildren ask me questions and challenge my response. I think that is a win, win, situation.

You can learn quite a lot from children. I have Dumbo on video.
You can learn from kids. And I did see Dumbo. The poll worked for me.
