My rose of sharon bushes are still blooming. I was out yesterday taking a few photos. The bees are really enjoying the pollen in these blooms. I captured this one deep into the bloom. He was actually drenched in pollen. I almost missed him actually. Nature has so much to offer. Pause and make sure you notice the little things.

Nice Capture! Bees are such a wonderful sight. So many hives are being destroyed by the impact of the environment it is wonderful to see happy bees!
Thanks Doc. I know, would love to save the bees.
A really good (well a really old good friend) is up to 9 hives now. He actually is working with the local orchard to add roughly 30 hives over the next two years. His honey is to die for!
Oh man. I was raised on local honey. My uncle did it for a living and we always had honey. The honey comb was the best! I still buy local honey to this day.
My dad tried for five or so years. It was amazing honey. Then they sold the farm. Oh well.
I love the buy local concept, I just wish we actually had decent tomatoes and watermelon to buy local in Maryland. Crab, we have, and it is amazing. Tomatoes, not so much.
Great photo, not a fan of bees, but the flower is pretty!
Thanks, these are cool bees Courtney, I kept my distance and moved slow.
That’s good to hear, I still would be too scared! lol
A friend took me to a sculpture garden and I was taking more pictures of the bees that of the sculptures!
They are so cool to see in macro, busy bees for sure.
This is the sign of healthiest pollen about to be blown..wow
I agree, and there were many more all over the blooms.
I’d miss him too… well hidden
He really was, it was cool!
Very beautiful macro flower.
Thank you so much! Have a great day.
