as we pull stretching the light until so
thin it cracks and shattering falls to
the ground. if we dashed madly
around and through
we might catch them as
the beams
bounced to the edges of the room
and then back. But we are stuck now
wondering
does the light reach that far?
Can we stretch it further
saving light for another day
when in the darkness
we open the box and let the light out.
as we stand
with light shattered
and wonder why?

I love and respect the traditions of my country, even though I have lived abroad for 15 years. We must not forget our roots. Doc I apologize for being late for my visits. But my work schedule offers me no other option.
