Summer brings thunder storms with wind speeds being very high. We have trees uprooted everywhere , cut cables and electric wires and the whole place is a mess. Traffic snarls are so common after thunder storms, because trees have to be cut and removed from the roads.
In the parks the trees that have fallen are left for months together in some faraway corner. This was a common sight for years. Suddenly we see students from arts schools creating pieces of art with these dead logs. Everywhere there are such beautiful art works that you just want to sit down and enjoy their craftsmanship.
Here are a couple of pieces from the hundreds around the park. I hope you like them as much as i do.

Very good art work with dead wood. Some people make art work here with drift wood. Drift wood is found on our beaches….
lacho59 I also thought it looked very real , with the light falling on its eyes and head.
This wood art is a great work from students. Nice that you have shared this.
I am so grateful that such material is now being put to good use and preserved for posterity. Thanks for the visit.
That’s a great idea. Students made real artwork.
I have admiration and respect for the person who came up with this idea. It has made our parks even more interesting.
Great idea … the bird is really beautiful
I agree with you Lado, the bird catching the light makes it almost real.
Well done! Congratulations to teachers and students about these sculptures!
Thank you Georgi Tsachev, I am in total awe of those students and teachers who work on dead wood which may not even be easy to work on.
This is a great thing to do, love this bird made from the wood.
I agree with you Carol, I just fell in love with the bird as soon as I set my eyes on it.
At first I thought that a bird perched on a tree. After reading what the students from the art schools have created, I was pleasantly surprised. I am glad that there are many talented young people around the world.
