Cold Water in the Bath?

I confess that I am not a fan of cold water showers, but lately the heat is so much that I have been trying to shower with warm water. But, according to Medical News Today, there are so many benefits that I have to get used to cold showers.

Increases circulation – By soaking in cold water, blood circulates more actively between all organs, thus preventing heart disease.

Stimulates the immune system –The immune system has the role of protecting the body against various viruses. As soon as we take a cold shower we reduce the possibility of getting sick. However, if you are already sick, this is not a good option.

Allows muscle recovery – After intensive workouts, athletes usually take a cold water bath or even an ice bath to make their muscle recovery faster. If we shower in cold water before bed, the muscles feel more relaxed, which makes our sleep easier.

Revitalizes the mind – The cold water bath is great for activating the brain system and aiding concentration.

Activates the vital energy – A cold morning shower gives you enough energy and motivation to stay active all day.

Keeps skin always healthy – Hot water removes natural fat and the skin becomes more dry and dehydrated. On the other hand, cold water keeps the skin healthy.

Combats hair loss, prevents greasiness and stimulates hair growth – High water temperatures essentially impair hair growth, root oiliness protrudes and hair loss increases.

Shines hair – Hot water tends to damage hair, whether it is dyed or not. And then, the care must be redoubled. On the other hand, cold water does not allow the tips to spike and makes it stay shiny, soft and super healthy.

Prevents the appearance of dandruff – Dandruff appears on the scalp due to the humidity and heat where the fungi lodge.
