Sharing a photo from my archives. This deck photo was snapped before all of the houses were built behind our home. The dairy farm was still there. My cow neighbors were there. Oh how I miss all of them. Now, nothing but house after house.
Oh well, that is how it goes. I still have my trees, clouds, and sunsets to view. So I consider myself rather lucky I suppose. No matter what, things can always be worse. Remember those important words.

Things can always be worse, agree?
-
Yes I agree with you.
-
I do not want to think of things being worse.
-
Whatever we are going through, there is ALWAYS someone having it worse.
-
None of these do I agree with.

Such interesting clouds!
What a lovely view. I have apartments on both sides and can barely see beyond my border wall. We need to enjoy what we have , that is how I live life.
Thanks, I was out on my deck that cloudy day.
one imagines a situation which couldn’t possibly get worse, but fortunately we don’t encounter such things
Indeed, that is how it goes in life. Knowing someone else is going through something worse helps me get through many days.
there but for the grace of god, go I…
That is what I keep telling myself every day and then |I just keep on writing and hoping for the best
I understand, and am always so glad to see you here.
This too shall pass is another quote that helps get me through. Hugs to you.
Unfortunately, this is happening more and more frequently. We have less and less pristine nature.
Yes I know, progress they call it.
Our negotiation is that no one can ever be weak so that nothing could be worse, dear Carol
That is an ineresting concept my friend.
Of course, though they may be better.
Depends on the person.
Indeed, you are right, but no matter how hard things are, others are suffering more.
When we moved to the place where we live now, there also were only a few homes. And now, whereever I look, I see houses, houses, houses. Sometimes I feel that I again need more space.
It is a sign of progress I am told.
