It seems odd, yet sometimes we forget that we are the ones that control our thoughts, actions and reactions. When we don’t like the path that we are on we can and should make different choices.
Today my goal is this; when I find myself drifting down a dark or unhappy place, stop and make a different choice. I am not putting pressure on myself to make a better choice. I am taking baby steps. Yesterday was very overwhelming and I was so exhausted that I couldn’t rest. Looking back on the day, I could have chosen to view things differently and reduced much of the stress.
It seem pretty simplistic, and simple may be just the thing I need today. Going back to basics and recognize what I do know and how I can use that knowledge to create my day seems practical.

Nothing seems simple any more. Life somehow got complicated.
Such is life. We have to push through the dark times and hope for a better day.
