Yesterday I posted a photo and I asked if you know what it is. If you missed the post, click here.
I only had 5 voters (it looks like this post was not interesting!)
Harvestmen (1 votes) – 20%
Daddy longlegs (4 votes) – 80%
Although I tried to give a clear clue: “They have no silk glands and therefore do not build webs”, only one answer was correct. For those who want to find out, this critter is a Harvestman [The Opiliones] (which is arachnids but not spiders).
Daddy long-legs is a spider.
English speakers may refer to hrvestman as “daddy longlegs” or “granddaddy longlegs”, but this name is also used for two other distantly related groups of arthropods: the crane flies of the family Tipulidae, and the cellars spiders of the family Pholcidae, probably because of their similar appearance.

This is a Daddy long-legs spider. Do you see the difference?

My answer is correct because I have read this post before your poll.
Very good! Thank you for taking part in this game!
I knew what it was, didn’t get a chance to vote though. Too slow.
Congratulations! It does not matter that you answered later. Maybe I gave the answer too fast. Be ready for the next challenge!?
I am not a very good critter identifier. Now I know! ?
I do not know much about insects either. I have to document when I photograph one I do not know.
This was very interesting. There is not as much traffic here lately.
My answer was wrong.
Most of the answers were wrong! When I took the picture I did not know what it was. I had to document myself to find out that they are not actually spiders!
