Always love seeing my golden privet bloom. The bees, butterflies and hummingbirds love the sweet nectar. I pick some of the blooms every day to bring inside. The fragrance is incredible.
Funny how a smell can take you places. I go back to my childhood when I smell these blooms. My dear mother and grandmother had them growing in their yards.
Such wonderful memories to enjoy all summer long. More of those little things that keep me going.

My favorite flower does not grow here in Spain. It’s very warm for snowdrops for me. I’m looking forward to the spring tulips come out. I smile often every day.
I am glad you have tulips to look froward to. Smiles back at you my friend.
my favorite flower – honestly it was roses for years. But now, it is tulips!
i love when the tulips first appear.
Memories, such as what you’ve shared, are the best part of the world around us. Smelling, seeing and remembering are powerful!
That is cool. I wish tulips lasted longer but they are gorgeous.
Memories cannot be replaced.
they cannot be replaced and they are so valuable
Very true, and the live on forever with us.

my grandfather used to say remember the important things. I would ask what was important, He would just hug me.
Oh my gosh, I felt that hug. 🙂
This is a really beautiful plant …. I’m looking forward to elderberry and I also pick it every year for tea … it tastes very nice ….. Vidocka published this plant today …. I think you know it
Thanks and so good to see you my friend. Hope all is well. I did see her elderberry.
Yes, I have always looked forward to a lemon or citrus tree blossoms or even our old cherry tree.
Never had any fruit trees. Have a good day Pam!
That is a very lovely plant. No wonder the bees enjoy it.
Thanks, I wish I had more. One day I will plant more. Smells so good!
Such a beautiful plant! I love everything that blooms but I am always excited about the cherry blossoms, wisterias and roses.
I really like this one, and so do the bess. I could hear them swarming. Should have done a video. Thanks!
A beautiful plant. I guess bees enjoy it a lot.
Thank you, they are swarming around the plant.
