Today marks such a remembrance in the United States for 9/11/2001. I have been thinking about so many other memories as well. I have an angel in Dustin’s garden in front of his rose bush. I often place rose petals over the words inscribed. I feel his presence in this place. Something to be thankful for and I never take it for granted. I remember him calling me at work many times asking when are you getting off work. Yes the guilt trip can lay heavy on your mind even this many years later. As a single parent I did the best I could. And he knew that. Just sharing a memory. I love and miss you Dustin.

I remembered when I heard the news, and i will always remember that heartbreaking day. Life is short and a blessing
Yes and there are many other memories just as vivid in my mind.
I thought a little about reading your post … I remembered my not very nice events … it always stays in our memory
Yes it does, both good and bad memories.
We in Indonesia also talked about and prayed for those who experienced the unfortunate event. We should remember them, as you remember Dustin and realize his presence near (even inside) you.
