This is truly a sent of events that I enjoy. Part of the reason I may like it so much in because of the history. These events were really a part of war. Soldiers used skiing to get where needed to go and they trained in all sorts of conditions. I studied that and met and ski instructor for the military. He passed away many years ago, but his experiences were exciting and interesting to listen to.

Alpine combined men: A traditional combined competition consists of one run of downhill and two runs of slalom, each discipline run on separate days. The winner is the skier with the fastest aggregate time.
