Alphabet Challenge – Open Spaces

It is hard to find open spaces in the city. Open spaces have become prey to development. There is construction going on everywhere, trees are being uprooted in the name of infrastructure and development. Open spaces are the lungs of the city and we are becoming cities with  no lungs.  We cry about air quality becoming poor but do nothing but build more structures.

Slowly there are buildings coming up in our parks too. Land grabbing is the name of the game. Agricultural land has now become residential areas. People are selling farm land for profit and moving away. I always wonder if no one want to do farming or agriculture where will we get our food from.

  1. Land grabbing, more space to build buildings and infrastructure in the name of the development; we should stop blaming the nature for everything. We also causing anxiety in the animal kingdom. They are no longer at peace and how many animals has man led to extinction? A sad reality!
