Alphabet challenge I -Ixora

Orange and red Ixoras are very common here. But now there are so many dwarf cultivars in a few different colors. These flowers attract birds and bees alike with their nectar. This is a shot of the buds. I loved they way they looked and decided I needed some pictures of the buds too.

These plants need full sunshine to thrive and bloom in abundance. If planted where there is less sunlight they are prone to insect attacks. The white mealy bug and aphids attack these plants commonly. Cutting back the bushes not only allows them to grow thick and bush but also to bloom in abundance too.

    • Now, how can I get it out of that cactus pot. I had no idea it could look like this, mine is all long and sparse. Needs space and out of that pot. I might just transfer them both to a bigger pot and not worry about trying to separate.
