I noticed this tree next to a giant coyote brush shrub last week when I was on the land. I can’t figure out what it is. I’d love someone’s opinion. The twigs are reddish. I may have to wait until it flowers to get more clues.
Here you'll find all collections you've created before.
Pamela, I’m hoping someone someday will see this and recognize it.
Interesting tree, don’t know what it is.
I agree with you, Kim. A lot of small trees and shrubs have this coloring and leaf shape. Flowers and fruits provide much more information. I’ll have to wait to see if it flowers. Toyan is native, so it could be that.
Sometimes it’s hard to identify trees, Albert.
Hard to id. but I would start looking at bushes.
Thank you, Carol. I hope she chimes in.
Kim Johnson is great at identification.
Thank you Carol, but without flowers it is next to impossible. Time to wait and see Barbara!
I also feel curious as you are.
