Wildwood Wildlife Park

When visiting northern Wisconsin, one our favorite places to visit is the Wildwood Wildlife Park in Minocqua. The park or zoo rivals attractions found in much larger cities, but maintains it’s small town charm. Be sure to buy some crackers to feed the deer. However, don’t let the goats at the entrance gobble up all the crackers first. Your little ones will enjoy holding the baby rabbits. Just remember to be gentle. You can even pet a skunk although their fur isn’t as soft as the bunny’s is. Tigers, lions, and bears! Otters, bison, and badgers! There’s so much to see. Still, feeding the budgies or parakeets is probably our favorite park activity. If you are ever up in northern Wisconsin, it’s worth a visit.
