Views from Yanui beach, Thailand

I want to talk about Yanui beach which is located on the island of Phuket (Thailand). The beach is the southernmost on the island. And it is very far from the airport. This beach was advised to us by the tour operator. She told us that this is her favorite beach.

We took a taxi for 300 baht one way and headed to the beach. The beach is not very big, but swimming there is impossible because there are a lot of stones. Even getting into the water is problematic because you are slipping off the stone that you managed to get upon.

On the beach, there are no shops and cafes, and there is also no entertainment. So that this beach can be called wild. But it’s not entirely true that the beach is wild, as there are sun loungers and sun umbrellas, and small boats. Rent a lounger for 150 baht for the whole day. The beach itself is clean and not crowded.

Water, by the way, is clean and clear. There are no hotels and no accommodation on the beach.

The beach itself is beautiful. So you can sit and enjoy it.

I don’t advise traveling with children at all since you won’t go into the water or swim because of the stones.

I would advise this beach to people who like silence.

You can also take a mask and snorkel and watch the underwater world - fishes.

I must say that the beach is very small and getting to it on foot from somewhere is quite problematic. They usually come there on motorbikes.

I can’t say that this is a beach for a permanent visit, but it is a must to visit it once!

Since you are in Phuket, try Si Rae, and also go to the neighboring islands such as Khao Yaw Yai and Khao Yaw Noi. Beautiful places. I am telling you
