I have heard about this, and yes it is creepy and bizarre, but there are so many brutal things and stories in history. And this is one of them.
I hear you, Lejla, but this simply functioned as a weird kind of graveyard. No element of brutality was involved.

That was exactly my reaction when I heard about it first. It’s actually quite a peaceful place, although definitely bizarre 🙂

I used to work for a travel agency and got to see a lot of places but, now that we have the time to travel, my wife is disabled and would have a hard time getting around.
That is surely unfortunate. Travel vicariously then – it’s what most of us do most of the time anyway, I suppose 🙂
