A view from below of Bran Castle, located near Brasov in Transylvania, Romania. This is the “Dracula” castle, where Vlad Tepes, (the person Dracula is based on) once lived. The castle is high up on a cliff in the mountains. The castle is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Romania. Although you won’t find any vampires up here, the view is pretty great and the castle is rich in history.

I guess Vlad Tepes created Dracula based on his life experiences from living in his castle.
