A short walk through Sofia at night.
Sunday night. There is almost no movement in the streets. People have long gone to their warm homes and are preparing for the new week.
The city is almost silent. Only the sound of the passing tram echoes in the chilly night.
A lonely rotunda, built by the Romans, is quietly huddled behind large buildings from the mid-20th century. It is beautiful and somehow lonely in the metropolis. A lantern, under a snow cap as a beacon. Cathedral of St. Alexander Nevsky is bathed in bright light.
Tomorrow people will go again in the streets, hurried, thoughtful … Now the city is falling asleep together with them, wrapped in the white blanket of winter.
Good night!
How wonderful a place … I have to visit him once
