D-GRAM Opens A New Era Of Media Contents Management

D-GRAM Prototyping

Jisu Jung, an ex-researcher at Digital Media and Communication Research and Development Center at Samsung HQ in Korea, has developed an innovative and futuristic ‘D-GRAM’ – a portable contents management gadget that transfers your contents from Smartphone or Memory Card without a PC.

He has also designed numerous key patents in the field of user interface, interaction and software user interface design along with developing a number of prototypes, programs and tools to prove and test ideas.

The device works on the design philosophy of Dieter Rams, has incredible contents storage of about 2 TB that enables you to store more than 10 hours 4k videos without compression.

The features include OS: Linux-Rebuilt for D-GRAM, GPU: ARM Mali400 MP2 and CPU: Dual-Core ARM Cortex-

It can manage your contents using variety of input interface for many devices. All you need to do is just plug in your mobile in D-GRAM to automatically manage the contents by media or by dates, also charges your Smartphone!

The D-GRAM supports HDMI-CEC technology that helps in watching your contents on TV using HDMI connection and your remote controller. You also directly connect your camera or transfer the contents from SC card and Micro SD card.

The creators of the device will incorporate variety of expandable modules in future, such as Diskpack for expand storage, Expandable memory socket module, Screen module, Projector module, Wi-Fi module.
