I love to try and figure out the story behind the story. Is there more than one bird already in the tree. Is there a whole family in the tree waiting for the other to join. Is there one simply be stubborn and not letting the next one in? There are so many choices.
We love to make stories and posts based simply on the picture and see how many different stories we get. We do it as a family. We do it in the class room with students. It might be fun to do it here. That would require some cooperation (which is hard to come by.)
Perhaps I will use an example from school. Maybe then someone could see the value.
What’s the story?
Good idea Ghost , I may try it
Mama is checking to see if all is safe and secure for the little one inside.
I like it, now we’re getting into it. Keep going.
A friend came to visit and is knocking to get in.
And is the friend coming in or are they leaving for an outing?
I think the friend wants to come in unless the inhabitant woodpecker might want to come out.
Mom bird is trying to get him out and he won’t come.
Oh no, I bet Mamma gets loud pretty soon.
That’s is an interesting idea. Go on.
Go ahead what do you think is happening?
Friend is stucked (in tree) … best friend try to save her?
It is always a good idea to have a best friend to save you. Well done.
Who is next?
