A large earthquake with a magnitude of over 7.0 on the Richter scale could possibly hit the Pacific Northwest later on this year. Seismologists have noticed hundreds of tremors going off in the area known as the Cascadia Subduction Zone in Washington and Oregon for the first part of this year. These tremors are not supposed to be happening, which means that something larger will be on the way. We must be prepared to help others when this earthquake happens.
and let’s hope it doesn’t wake up st. helens again…
I didn’t even think about Montana because they were only talking about Washington and Oregon, but St. Helens is definitely in play, especially since the seismologist was saying in the video that nothing major should come of this. It’s like weather people saying it’s not going to rain and it rains ten minutes later.
meteorology is a science, but not a very precise one…
Hopefully it doesn’t destroy the beauty of certain spots in Oregon.
These are very scary and can be unpedictable.
Oh its really terrible…..
