They like eating slugs & snails. They eat nasty garden pests so put off putting down slug bait to poison slugs & snails and let the birds rid the garden for you.
They watch you in the garden and follow you around, looking for the delicious meal of garden pests you have for them.
Blackbirds do the same.
Thrushes always sing ame song twice and try not to let them know you are looking at them.
