The workout: Yearning for the feel of nature

Driving out to the Des Plaines River Trail, I had Notorious B.I.G. ‘Things done changed’ stuck in my head. Yearning for the feel of being in nature, I would have been a fool to not take advantage of being out in the woods with temperatures creeping into the seventies.

In my opinion, fall season is the best season of them all to run in because it is gorgeous plus the temperature is always perfect, but rarely in a city like Chicago Illinois do we get temperatures in the seventies in the fall for crying out loud. I’ll take it!

For my run, I went 2.00 miles out-and-back which takes me just short of the railroad tracks nearby Saint Joseph Cemetery in River Grove.

I brought out my compression tights which hug all of my lower body in a very flattering way.
