One day for some reason I ended up in Weymouth.Auckland, NZ, In this park a favourite place for the Royal Spoonbills is the top of the pine trees.
They were gone a long while and I don’t know where they went. They have returned as Manukau Harbours vacuum cleaners of small marine animals.
They all sat in the tree tops. Watching each other, sleeping, preening or watching out for something to happen.
This one took flight on impulse and returned to its perch in the pine trees.
It looks fantastic. It’s just like an athlete athlete
Thanks Elenka, the Royal Spoonbill is a super bird.

Thanks Glad you like the Royal Spoonbill, I think its a beautiful bird.
A man has always wanted to fly just watching how he knows nice birds fly.
And so the myth about Ikar and Dedal was created.
Interesting not heard about that myth. Yes, who wouldn’t want to fly? Thanks Robin
